(2 minutes) What is a TLO reminder

Using the slides go over:

  • What is a TLO?
  • Why do we do them?
  • Which lessons will we be exploring?

(2 minutes) Lesson Planning Process Overview

Using the slides describe what’s going to happen:

  • Lesson planning takes place in a room of people who are only planning your lesson
  • You’ll have a session leader who sets up the lesson for you, and gives guidance on what to watch out for while planning the lesson
  • You will have 70 minutes of planning time today, and 75 minutes of planning time tomorrow morning.
  • You’re welcome to keep planning after we finish today.

(5 minutes) Get Everyone in a Section

  • Using the section link you created for you teachers in your workshop to get all the teachers on the section for your room.

(5 minutes) Assign Groups

  • Count off by 8 to make groups (2-4 teachers in each)
  • Have teachers move to sit with their group

(1 minute) Next Session Reminders

Teachers have a 15 minute break now. Make sure to let teachers know what time to return to your room before they head off for break.
