Get feedback from participants about their gots and needs to inform the next day, clarify housekeeping, and take the survey.

- Participants will be able to provide constructive feedback to facilitators

- This session requires that you modify “Housekeeping slides” ahead of time. Review the slide deck and make changes to the slides as noted in the slide deck prior to starting your workshop.

Introduction to Gots and Needs (10 minutes)
(2 minutes) Review today's accomplishments
Today we:
- Got to know one another
- Learned about the structure of the Professional Learning program
- Learned about the information inside the Course and Exam Description
- Engaged in two different lessons from the curriculum as a learner
- Dug into the curriculum resources for the lesson you will teach.
- Discussed a bit about “Understanding self” and “Understanding Context” as it related to computer science education. Tomorrow we will focus more on “Understanding responsibility”
(3 minutes) Discuss
Discuss with an elbow partner: 2 things you learned today and 2 things you want to know more about.

Overview of gots and needs chart (what it is, why we use it)
(3 minutes) Gots and Needs
Jot down at least 1 got and 1 need on a post-it (you’ll put these up on chart paper as you leave the room, and we’ll try to respond to them throughout the week).
Housekeeping (2 minutes)
(2 minutes) Housekeeping
Complete any housekeeping notes for the day.
Make sure to remind everyone when you start in the morning.
If time, take care of questions in the Question Parking Lot

- What is it
- Who looks at it
- What information facilitators, regional partners, and Code.org can see
- What do these groups use it for
Facilitator Tip
Reminder to facilitators:
- When reviewing the post-its, consider when you will cover the questions naturally (given the agenda for the week)
- If possible/needed, make one change based on the feedback and explain that to participants. We want them to know that we do act on feedback. One way to show them that is to act on one piece of feedback on the first day.
